Golfing New England: Massachusetts

Bayberry Hills Golf Course

Play the championship tees at a beefy 7,172 yards at Bayberry Hills Golf Course in West Yarmouth and you’ll face all the challenge you can handle. Each hole is tree-lined and set in splendid isolation from the remainder of the course, which is well-bunkered with soft, expansive greens. The facility also features a superb three-tiered, all-grass driving range and one of the largest practice greens anywhere. The new nine-hole links course will take you to Scotland.

Shaker Hills Country Club

Shaker Hills Country Club (pictured above), set in bucolic Harvard, is a classic New England layout that has only been improved with extensive renovations that were completed in 2013. The redesigned 18th hole is now a sweeping 562-yard dogleg right par 5 that finishes in a natural amphitheatre surrounded by the majestic clubhouse. The new clubhouse, featuring a top deck, provides dramatic views of four holes.
